2018 marks the 10th bottling of Cabernet Franc as its own varietal at Schweiger Vineyards. We have a lot of fun making this wine as it is both a fun blending component for Dedication and a lively varietal on its own. Cabernet Franc is a lighter expression of our Spring Mountain terroir not only in its color but a more delicate berry note along with spicy plum, cocoa powder, cherry and a faint note of Herbs de Provence.

Schweiger Cabernet Franc possesses an elegant floral and stone fruit bouquet, delightful acidity, and lingering charm. Notes of cherry, plum, and blackberry are brushed with cocoa powder, making it fit for a late lunch of miso glazed duck or grilled salmon.
